In May 2020 St. Zeeschelp, Fry Marine and Kingfish started a feasibility study on an innovative feeding system for fish larvae. The right amount of feed, the mix of feed and the timing of feeding is crucial for the survival of fish larvae and currently, there is no sufficient feeding system for this fish.
Therefore, we investigate if it is economically and technically feasible to develop such system. An automated feeding system will ensure that the larvae receives fresh food with optimal nutrients at the right time. This project is made possible by a subsidy of the Province of Zeeland.
